About Us

Jeremy Ackwood, owner of Ackwood Auto Parts, has always been interested in the automotive industry. When he was younger, he would help his father fix his friend's and family's vehicles. Seeing his father's passion for helping vehicle owners ignited his own. Initially, Jeremy had intended to follow in his father's footsteps and become a mechanic. However, while in high school, he was given an opportunity to work at an auto parts store called McKerlies. While there, he found delight in interacting with drivers and helping them find the right part for their vehicle repair or upgrade.

In 2010, Jeremy opened the doors to Ackwood Auto Parts. On opening day, the store employed five staff and had a delivery fleet of two vehicles. Over a decade later, our auto parts store continues to grow. We're now one of the area's most trusted experts and assist drivers in finding the parts they need for their car or truck. As a locally owned business, we aspire to give back through community outreach. We even received the Platinum Award from CommunityVotes Sarnia.
